Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah

We established Summit Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to produce clean, green energy that would ultimately reduce our national dependency on imported petroleum fuel. Through our projects, we are committed to developing hydroelectricity potential in Nepal and contributing to energy security and robust Nepali economy by strategically investing in renewable water resources and skilled human capital.

Nepal needs strong cooperation and collaboration between the public and private sector to properly utilize our natural resources. The public is usually dismissive of unfortunate issues of general misuse and organized theft of electricity in Nepal, which is exacerbated by lack of awareness of the sheer challenges that hydroelectricity entrepreneurs face in topographical access, geographical remoteness, and other difficulties. Thus, we all have to engage in mass public awareness and transparency of information.

In spite of the policy preference provided to hydroelectricity projects in Nepal and instituted administrative mechanisms between different levels of government, practical implementation and ease of doing business remains a massive challenge. However, we strive to make a responsible working environment by engaging concerned stakeholders – local governments, grassroots representatives, and political leaders – on the role that Bakan Khola Hydro-Electric Project(BKHEP) 44 MW can play for energy security, infrastructure development, employment opportunities, and local empowerment in the affected villages of Sankhuwasabha.

As challenges create opportunities, we are committed to setting up a private enterprise to both address the aforementioned challenges and create financial value to all investors, including the local villages where we work. Out of 83000 MW hydroelectricity potential in Nepal, only 2900 MW has been generated to the national grid, so the probable economic gains are realistic for entrepreneurs, investors, and the entire country
